Booking the dog forest with exercise benefits is now clearer
Exercise benefits are employer-provided benefits, such as Epassi, Smartum, and Edenred, which can be used to pay for exercise and sports services. Booking Someron Koirametsä with exercise benefits is now easier than ever. Due to a change in the VAT rate in accordance with new guidance from the Finnish Tax Administration, exercise benefits no longer need to be booked as a separate exercise trail service. Instead, they can now be used directly for regular single visits or multi-visit passes in our booking calendar.
Booking is now simpler and faster than before. In practice, this means that you can book your session as usual and pay with an exercise benefit without using a separate exercise trail service. This change makes the booking process clearer and smoother for all users of exercise benefits.
Booking the dog forest with Epassi
As many have already noticed, Epassi can now be used directly as a payment method in the Someron Koirametsä booking calendar. When paying with Epassi, there is no longer a need to select the Exercise Trail service, which has been completely removed from the service options. Simply book a regular single visit or purchase a multi-visit pass and choose Epassi as the payment method at checkout.
Booking the dog forest with Edenred or Smartum
Payments made with Edenred and Smartum are still processed manually. You can purchase your desired session length or a multi-visit pass in the Edenred or Smartum apps and send us the purchase details according to the instructions. We will then email you a personal gift card or multi-visit pass corresponding to your purchase, which you can use to make a booking. Please note that there may always be a short delay in processing these payments, but we aim to handle them as quickly as possible.
Unused multi-visit passes and gift cards
All unused exercise trail multi-visit passes and personal exercise trail gift cards have automatically been updated to the correct VAT rate. They can therefore be used as such for regular single visits in the Someron Koirametsä booking calendar.
If your multi-visit pass or gift card code does not work properly at checkout, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
If you would like to reschedule an exercise trail booking made before January 30, 2026, please send us a rescheduling request by email and include your preferred new time. Unfortunately, these bookings can no longer be rescheduled by customers themselves. Bookings made after this date can be rescheduled normally via the link in the booking confirmation.
