Someron Koirametsä can now be paid for with exercise benefits
We are happy to announce that Someron Koirametsä can now be paid for with exercise benefits! You can now use Epassi, Smartum, and Edenred exercise benefits for quality outdoor activities with your dog.
How does paying for the dog forest with exercise benefits work?
You can purchase a personal gift card or a multi-visit pass with exercise benefits. They can then be used as a payment method in our online booking calendar. It’s this easy to enjoy the opportunities offered by the dog forest:
- Choose a service from the price lis
First, check our price list to decide which service(s) you’d like to purchase with your exercise benefit. Scroll down in the price list to find the “Exercise Trail” services. - Complete payment in the app
Use Epassi, Smartum, or Edenred app. Select Someron Koirametsä from the list of service providers and complete your payment. If you’re paying for multiple services at once, be sure to mention them in the next step. - Notify us of your purchase via email
Send your payment details (e.g., a screenshot of the receipt or information about the service(s) you purchased), your name, and phone number to info@someronkoirametsa.fi. - Receive your gift card or multi-visit pass
You will receive a gift card or a multi-visit pass via email within three days at the latest, usually sooner. If you want to make a reservation immediately, you can also pay for it directly in our online store without using an exercise benefit. - Make a reservation on our website
When booking a visit, select Exercise trail using sport benefit from the reservation calendar in our online store:
Choose the visit duration (the same as the one you paid for with your exercise benefit) and a suitable time slot. Accept the reservation terms and proceed to checkout. Enter your contact details and move to the payment step. Select “Gift card” or “Prepaid card” as the payment method, depending on which one you had purchased. Enter the code you received in the designated field and confirm the payment. The multi-visit pass code can be used for five visits.
If the gift card or multi-visit pass code does not work and you receive the error message “The gift card is not valid for the selected services in the cart (different VAT rate)”, go back to the beginning and ensure that you have selected the Exercise trail using sport benefit -service instead of a regular single visit (see the screenshot above). Reservations paid with exercise benefits have a VAT rate of 0%, whereas regular single visits have a VAT rate of 25.5%.
Please note that visits paid for with exercise benefits are binding and cannot be cancelled or refunded. Any remaining value on the gift card will also not be refunded. If necessary, the reservation can be transferred through the transfer link provided in the reservation confirmation.

The 500-meter exercise trail with hill training section at Someron Koirametsä is available when you book a slot in the dog forest using exercise benefits. The trail winds through varied terrain in the forest, providing appropriate challenges and stimulation for both dogs and their owners. The route is well-marked, and there are benches along the trail for those who wish to rest their legs or do bodyweight exercises.
